1. Introduction

Welcome to Volta Systems Group ("Volta," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your relationship with Volta Systems Group, a full-service electrical and custom integration company for commercial and high-end residential projects.

By engaging our services, accessing our website, or communicating with our representatives, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Services

Volta Systems Group provides electrical and custom integration services including but not limited to:

• Electrical system design and installation
• Lighting control systems
• Home and building automation
• Audio/visual integration
• Security systems
• Network infrastructure
• Smart home/building solutions
• Energy management systems

3. Estimates and Pricing

3.1. All estimates provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.

3.2. Prices are subject to change based on unforeseen conditions, changes in scope, or material price fluctuations.

3.3. Additional work requested beyond the original scope will be quoted separately and require approval before proceeding.

4. Payment Terms

4.1. For projects exceeding $5,000, a deposit of 30% is required before work commences.

4.2. Progress payments may be required for larger projects according to the schedule outlined in your contract.

4.3. Final payment is due upon completion of work.

4.4. Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly interest charge.

5. Warranties and Guarantees

5.1. Volta Systems Group warrants all workmanship for a period of one (1) year from completion.

5.2. Manufacturer warranties for equipment and materials will be passed through to the client.

5.3. Warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear.

6. Project Timeline and Completion

6.1. Project timelines provided are estimates and may be affected by factors including permit approvals, material availability, and unforeseen conditions.

6.2. Volta will communicate any significant delays promptly.

6.3. Project completion is defined as the point when all contracted work has been performed and systems are functioning as specified.

7. Client Responsibilities

7.1. Providing timely access to the property.

7.2. Making decisions and providing feedback in a timely manner.

7.3. Disclosing any known issues with existing systems.

7.4. Ensuring the work area is reasonably clear of obstructions.

8. Cancellation Policy

8.1. Cancellation before work commences: Deposit is refundable minus any costs incurred (design, ordered materials, etc.).

8.2. Cancellation after work commences: Client is responsible for payment of all completed work, ordered materials, and a 10% fee on the remaining contract value.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1. All designs, plans, and custom programming created by Volta Systems Group remain our intellectual property.

9.2. License to use these designs is granted to the client for the specific project only.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1. Volta's liability is limited to the contract value.

10.2. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

10.3. Force majeure: Volta is not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

11. Insurance and Licensing

11.1. Volta Systems Group maintains appropriate business insurance and professional licenses as required by law.

11.2. Proof of insurance and licensing is available upon request.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1. Any disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation.

12.2. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with local laws.

13. Privacy Policy

13.1. Client information is collected solely for business purposes.

13.2. We do not sell or share client information with third parties except as required to complete your project.

13.3. We may photograph completed work for portfolio purposes unless explicitly prohibited by the client.

14. Amendments

14.1. These Terms may be updated periodically.

14.2. Material changes to project-specific terms require written agreement from both parties.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state where Volta Systems Group's primary business office is located.
